Upon arrival meet the representative who waits with the name board at the airport, Guest will be welcomed with a garland. Transferred to the Hotel at the hotel and the rooms will be assigned with a welcome drink. 15:00 Hrs: Met by the Road captain and introduced to the Royal Enfield Motorcycles. There will be a short briefing about the Lower Mustang Motorcycle Tour. Also advise the safety, and the proper speed to ride on the roads in Nepal. After the briefing, everyone will be handed the keys to the motorcycles and taken for a ride around the city to familiarize themselves with the motorcycles.
18:00 Hrs:. Later proceed for a welcome dinner at a typical Nepali Restaurant. Bhojan Griha is located in Dilli Bazar is an authentic Nepali Restaurant. It is an old Nepali Building that is more than 100 years old; it is a historical & artistic building of a former royal priest. There is a one-hour Nepali folk dance program. After breakfast ride to Daman. We negotiate the traffic out of Kathmandu city and ride out of the valley at the cross-section of the ring road at Kalanki and then set out for the check post at Thankot take a left and ride uphill and downhill till Daman. Daman is only 29 kilometers uphill with sharp bends. Daman situated at an altitude of 2,500 M Daman is the perfect destination for all seasons to undertake outdoor activities like rock climbing, Paragliding, hang gliding, or even just for acclimatization before a hectic trek or mountaineering, Pony trekking, Mountain biking, Fishing, etc. One can also view the mountain panorama.
The road with lots of turns and twist with beautiful views through the forest and local villages we reach Hetaunda. We have lunch and later we join the east-to-west highway and ride to Chitwan. Chitwan National Park, the oldest national park in Nepal is situated in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of South-Central Nepal. It is one of the well-known destinations for the Nepal Motorbike Tour. The park has an area of 932 square Kilometers and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1984 and “Things to do” in Nepal. After breakfast, start the ride to Lumbini. Firstly, we have to retrace the same road till the one-horn Rhino junction from where we will be joining the main highway known as East to West Highway. Upon arrival at the rhino, chock take a left and continue riding till we arrive at Narayangarh. Upon arrival at Narayangarh, we follow the road to Lumbini. Lunch en route, and after lunch, continues riding till we arrive at Butawal. At Butwal we take a left and continue riding Lumbini. LUMBINI: In the Buddha’s time, Lumbini was a park situated in Kapilavastu Nepal. It was in Lumbini that the Lord Buddha was born. Lumbini is a popular place while in Nepal Motorbike Tour. A pillar now marks the spot of Asoka’s visit to Lumbini. According to an inscription on the pillar, it was placed there by the people then in charge of the park to commemorate Asoka’s visit and gifts. The park was previously known as Rummindei, two miles north of Bhagavanpura.In the SuttaNipáta (vs. 683) it is stated that the Buddha was born in a village of the Sákyans, in the LumbineyyaJanapada. Riding toward Butwal via Bhairahawa, after Butwal the ride to Tansen, the most popular summer resort. The views from Tansen are spectacular. After Lunch ride further along Gulmi road along the summit of Shreenagar hill. Lunch at the Tensen bazaar and follow the black topped pitched and winding road with the beautiful scenery of hills, forest, and the village’s en-route. At the outskirts of Pokhara, we are greeted with views of the Annapurna Mountain range including the famous Fish Tail Mountain. Pokhara stands at 827 meters above sea level and is an ideal vacationer’s paradise. It is a gets way to the Lower Mustang Motorcycle Tour and Upper Mustang Motorcycle Tour. With its crystal-clear lakes, magnificent views of the Annapurna Mountain Range, and bustling but quaint lakeside bazaar, it is a major tourist attraction. After an early breakfast, leave Pokhara and drive towards Beni (70 KM) on the Baglung Highway. This section of the drive provides fantastic mountain vistas, picturesque terraced farmlands, and an opportunity to walk on one of Nepal’s famous suspension bridges. At Mal Dhunga, leave the main highway by taking the right trail and follow a dusty graveled path all the way to Beni, it is located on the confluence of Kali Ghandaki and Myagdi rivers at an altitude of 799 M. From here, the road is unpaved and dusty with potholes in several places. Unpaved, graveled rough road poses a real challenge for drives and makes it more difficult with the occasional river crossings. Ascend gradually through the Kali Gandiki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. There is a continuous change in the topography with every twist and turn until Kalopani.
After an early breakfast, set out on the trail by following the Kali Gandaki River and passing Villages to Dana, Ghasa, Tukuche, and Kalopani. En route, there are fantastic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Tukuche (6920m), and Nilgiri (7061m).
As we pass between the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Mountain range, a dramatic change in vegetation is witnessed from green forests, to dry arid desert. It takes gradual acclimatizing with the surrounding. Continue the ride towards Jomsom through the dusty graveled “off” road passing smaller settlements and apple orchards. This day’s journey is a tough one but the scenic views of the rugged landscape, beautiful cascading waterfalls, orange and apple orchards, scattered roadside villages, and ancient Buddhist monasteries all make it ‘One Hell of a Ride”.
From here continue the ride passing through the village on the desert plateau brings us to Muktinath “Place of Salvation”. Muktinath is the final destination for The Lower Mustang Motorcycle Tour. Upon arrival at Muktinath, we check into the guest house. Late PM: Visit Muktinath Temple. A sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists and is located at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La (5416 m Pass).
After a leisurely breakfast ride down to Kagbeni (2800 m) which is the gateway to Upper Mustang. Kagbeni at an altitude of 2840m is a fascinating medieval village with closely packed mud brick houses, dark alleys, and imposing chortens that lies along the trekking route and is the gateway to Upper Mustang. This village also boasts a Monastery. From Kagbeni continue the ride to Jomsom (approx. 11 Km) but we continue a further 25 kilometers, about a 1 ½ hour slow ride to Kalopani via Marpha Village. Here we stop for Lunch. Marpha is famous for its apple orchards and apple products. This large Thakali village exhibits the typical Thak Khola architecture of flat roofs and narrow paved alleys and passageways. Oder the hot lunch and sightseeing around village After lunch ride another 2 to 2 ½ hours to Tatopani. Upon arrival at Tatopani, we check into the guest house. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the village.
It is a pleasant relief to be able to tackle the roughest section of the journey in the early morning. Descend to Tatopani (21 kilometers) and then continue riding back to the settlement of Jaleswor located close to the river and then continue on to Beni. After a quick stop for a quick, set out following the trail along the river and the after about an hour meet the main highway at Maldhunga and then continue of the metalled road to Pokhara which is reached in about 2 ½ hours. After breakfast downhill ride to the highway and take the right. We arrive at Mugling. So, from Mugling since we are riding from Pokhara we will not take south we will keep riding the same highway to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu check in to the hotel and Bid farewell to the Road Captain, mechanic, and crew. the rest of the day is free to relax and explore Thamel City.
